Tata Motors' car Nano is constantly getting a weak response from the customers. Nano sales are continuously falling in recent months. In September 2017, Tata Nano's sales have been the weakest. In September, only 124 units of Nano have been sold. Between selling sales, the company's shareholders are worried about its economic viability. Tata Motors has suffered a lot of loss in the manufacturing of nanotechnology. In June 2017, only 167 units of Nano were sold.

Nano sold less than Mercedes's E-Class Car

During the six months ending September, Nano has only 1,436 units of sales. This sale of Nano is less than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Mercedes-Benz is the best-selling luxury car in India. However, Tata Motors has re-engineered the plant that produces Nano in Sanand, Gujarat. Tata Motors has also included other models such as Tiago and Tiger. However, the company has not given any definite deadline to stop the production of the Nano.

About 4% losses on the production of Nano

Next generation models like Tata Motors's Tiago, Tiger, Hexa and Nexon have more than 80 percent of the company's monthly volume. In this way old and low-volume products like Nano, Indica, Indigo and Sumo can be made out of the market. Tata Moon's Chairman N Chandrasekharan said in a recent interview that the response to Nano is very less (about 4 per cent) and then it will not require much investment to continue.
