Lucknow: Kalpana Tiwari wife of Vivek Tiwari who died after he was shot at by police last night  wrote to Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath demanding a CBI inquiry into the incident. She has also demanded a compensation of Rs 1 crore and a job in the police department.

Earlier Talking to Media CM Yogi Adityanath said that it was not an encounter. He assured for an investigation and if needed then a CBI inquiry will also be held into the incident.

Mean while Anand Kumar, UP ADG Law & Order on death of Lucknow resident Vivek Tiwari said that post mortem report established a firearm injury from a bullet on the left side of the chin, viscera of the victim has preserved. He added that thorough investigation is being conducted to establish the sequence of events.

A case of murder under section 302 IPC has been registered against the two policemen. Stringent action will be taken assured Anand Kumar, UP ADG Law & Order on incident where Vivek Tiwari was shot at by police personnel yesterday. He later succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, Lucknow Senior Superintendent of Police Kalanidhi Naithani addressed a press conference, informing mediapersons that a special investigation team had been formed to investigate the incident.

Sana Khan, who was present in the car with Vivek complained of this matter to the police, Sana Khan has alleged that police personnel followed them with bike and then fired bullets targeting them. After which Lucknow police has registered a case against two policemen and ordered an inquiry. To investigate the matter, police officers have constituted a special Investigation Team. Police said that this incident was done at Gomti Nagar police station on Friday night. Kalpana Tiwari, wife of late Vivek, has approached the CM Yogi Adityanath of UP that he should come to his house and talk to her, as well as take strict action against the police.
