Karnataka Assembly Election 2018: Rahul Gandhi follows Amit Shah's foot step

Bengaluru: Congress president Rahul Gandhi will embark on a two-day extensive election campaign in Karnataka from Tuesday as PTI reported.

With his itinerary, Rahul will cover places recently visited by BJP national president Amit Shah.

Gandhi will tour to Shivamogga, Davangere, Chitradurga, Tumakuru and Ramanagar district on 3 and 4 April in his fifth round of election-campaigning in poll-bound Karnataka.

In addition, holding a public meeting, Rahul would also call on Shivakumara Swami of Siddaganga Math, who turned 111 on Saturday 7.04.2018, as per the programme details released by the party.

On 3 April, the Congress president would visit people at Bus Stand Chowk and address a public gathering in Shivamogga. He will then tour Honnalli, Harihara and Bathi towns in Davangere district.

Gandhi scion would also hold a public meeting at Davangere town. The next day, Gandhi would visit Holalakere in Chitradurga district and address an assembly.

He would then pass through to Siddaganga Math in Tumakuru district. Gandhi would meet people in Kunigal town and would finish off another round of campaigning by addressing a public campaign at Magadi in Ramanagar district before leaving for Delhi.

 Worth mentioning here Amit Shah had visited these places on 26 and 27 March.
