Laila Majnu, the great collaboration between Imtiaz Ali and Ekta Kapoor have created a sensation among the viewers who witnessed its teaser. The romantic drama’s introduction is revealed on Monday and also informed that the trailer for the movie will be there at audience reach after two days.

The Balaji Motion Pictures of Ekta Kapoor joined the project to contribute to the production part whereas the ‘Highway’ director will present the love story.

The introduction that is unveiled features Imtiaz where we can be heard him saying: “Romeo-Juliet, Heer-Ranjha, Laila-Majnu, why do some stories live forever. Why is it that these stories for a thousand years are still being told and still being heard.” Further,r he gave a hint of the plot of his next movie where the two lead roles fight for their love which is not to the reach of other generation’s people.

While ending the introductory part the writer said: “I don’t believe that love belongs to a previous generation, I believe that love belongs to every generation and more to this generation perhaps than to any other where people are even lonely then before, when people need love more than before. They need that understanding, that craziness, that madness to be alive.”
