Land Rover, the British car manufacturer, has launched a brand new Discovery car in India. The company has put an initial price of this car at Rs 71.38 lakh. The price of the car goes up to Rs 1.08 crores. For this car, booking started in India several months ago. This is the model of the Third Generation of Land Rover Discovery. The first model of the car was introduced in 1989. The car has been prepared on a low-weight company's PLA platform. This 480 kg light and fast compared to the old model.

A new 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine is given in the new model of the discovery car. It generates torque of 335 bhp and torque of 450 nm. Besides this, the option of 3.0 liter diesel engine, which generates torque of 254 bhp and torque of 600 nm. Both engines have been connected with an 8-speed automatic transmission. 

The maximum speed of the petrol engine will be 215 km from cars like Creta and it takes 7.1 seconds to reach speeds of 0 to 100 kmph. Talking about the same thing as diesel variants, its maximum speed is 209 kmph and it takes 8.1 seconds to reach a speed of 0 to 100 kmph. 

It is a 7-seater car, which has a 10-inch touchscreen encoding system with Android Auto and Apple Carplay. The Intelligent Seat Fold technique has been given in the car so that the seats of the second and third line can be adjusted.
