BJP veteran and Union minister Ananth Kumar died on Monday morning. Ananth Kumar had been suffering from cancer for a long time. Today Anant Kumar's funeral will be done in Bengaluru. This morning, the body of Ananth Kumar will be first placed for the final visit to the BJP headquarters in Bangalore and later his funeral will be done on this evening at the cremation ground at Chamraj Pat. Let us tell you the government has announced a three-day state mourning and a one-day holiday on the demise of senior leader Ananth Kumar.

In the funeral of veteran leader Ananth Kumar, there is also a possibility that many big politicians, including Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan and Home Minister Rajnath Singh, will also present. Significantly, the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi met Anant Kumar's family in Bangalore and gave his partner the last farewell. Let me tell you that PM Modi was too sad  with the death of Ananth Kumar and he had tweeted that he had lost his special friend.

For your information, the hospital administration had told that Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and senior BJP leader Anant Kumar had passed away on Monday in Bangalore. Ananth Kumar was battling lung cancer for several months. Ananth Kumar breathed his last at about two o'clock in the evening at the Shankara Cancer Hospital and Research Center at the age of 59.
