President Rahul Gandhi constituted a 9-member Core Group Committee, including P Chidambaram, GN Azad and Mallikarjun Kharge, a 19-member Manifesto Committee including Salman Khurshid & Shashi Tharoor & 13 member Publicity Committee for the upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha Elections.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday constituted a 9-member ‘core group committee’ ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The core committee included the names of veteran leaders including P Chidambaram, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mallikarjun Kharge. In addition the core committee, Gandhi scion also constituted a 19-member Manifesto Committee which included senior leaders Salman Khurshid and Shashi Tharoor.  According to the reports Gandhi scion also constituted a 13 member Publicity Committee which included Rajeev Shukla and Kumar Ketkar as top members.

The grand old party General Secretary of organization Ashok Gehlot said with the constitution of the committees, the party will be ready to set he strategies of election mode and will Kick off the work of putting up a manifesto and draw plan for publicity and coordination.

Congress also decided to take on  PM Modi led BJP  on Rafel deal issue for  2019 Lok Sabha elections.
