Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, the story of a lady who paid a lot to the freedom of India is coming forth on the silver screen with the help of Kangana Ranaut who is portraying the well-known warrior of India. The Indian epic biographical film based on the life of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi has received the direction of Krish.

It was previously anticipated and some reports also confirmed that though the shooting part of the movie is now completed, the post-production work and VFX(Visual Effect) are some tasks that are pushing the makers to postpone the date of release. Notably, the movie for which initially release was decided for April this year get postponed due to late shoot and decided for September but VFX work which is an important part emerged as an obstacle and halt the release.

The trade analyst Taran Adarsh brought the confirmation to the rumors that suggested that the movie can fight Kangana’s biggest rival's movie Super 30 on the republic day week 2019. He wrote down: “Mark the date: #Manikarnika -The Queen Of Jhansi to release on 25 Jan 2019 [Republic Day]... Stars Kangna Ranaut... Directed by Krish... Produced by Zee Studios and Kamal Jain.”

Worthy to share that Kangana and Hrithik Roshan’ s rivalry is well known as it the massive drama that was created due to allegations that they roped on each other by legal notices. Now as per reports the two will again begin the throwback story as Kangana’s upcoming movie Manikarnika’s filmmakers were searching for an appropriate release date and eventually reached to 25th January which was the scheduled release for Hrithik’s Super 30.
