Modi lashes out Cong over emergency: 10 strikes of PM with slogan 'Loktantra Amar Rahe'

Today PM Narendra Modi landed in Mumbai to be present at the annual meeting of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and addressed his party workers.

In his address, PM Modi lashed out Congress on Anniversary of 1975 emergency.

Here are his 10 attacks on  then Indira Gandhi-led Congress 

1. The people who trampled upon the constitution, jailed the country's democracy, are today spreading fear that Modi will interfere in the constitution.

2. The party which has no internal democracy cannot be expected to follow the ideals of a democracy: PM Narendra Modi in Mumbai

10.PM Narendra Modi in Mumbai ended his speech on 1975 Emergency with the slogan 'Loktantra Amar Rahe'.

 As we all know that June 25 marks the day when Indira Gandhi had declared a state of Emergency in the nation for a 21-month period from 1975 to 1977, which was officially issued by then President Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed under Article 352 of the Constitution due of the current "internal disturbance". The Emergency was in effect from June 25, 1975, until it’s taking out on March 21, 1977.

 Earlier In morning PM Modi  in a series of tweets said that  India remembers 1975 Emergency as 'dark period'

The 1975 Emergency is considered to be one of the most controversial periods of free India's history.
