The trailer of Shiva Nirvana’s Naga Chaitanya, Samantha and Divyansha Kaushik starrer ‘Majili’ was released over the weekend. The makers on Sunday released the film’s trailer, giving a sneak peek at what is in store for ChaySam fans. Majili trailer offers a glimpse into the lives of a couple. Samantha is seen in the role of a mature woman of an irresponsible and alcoholic husband, in Majili trailer. There are also hints that Naga Chaitanya is a stubborn personality who has closed all the doors to love. The trailer has raked in more than 2M digital views in less than 24 hours.

At the beginning of the trailer, we see Chaitanya aka Poorna listening to “Lag Jaa Gale” as his father is constantly bickering about him living on his wife’s income. Poorna is a jobless alcoholic man with anger issues. Within a minute, we are introduced to his happy past, the root of all his problems in the present. As a youngster, Poorna fell in love with Anshu (Divyansha Kaushik), but eventually, they part ways. The trailer also sees Naga Chaitanya talk of an unknown character named Meera, even if it isn’t revealed who plays it yet. Subbaraju, Rao Ramesh and Posani Krishna Murali are also shown briefly in the trailer, with the film taking place in Visakhapatnam.
