The biopic on Dhoni i.e. MS Dhoni: The untold story is about to release and its trailer and songs hit the screen already and top the chartbuster. The movie is directed by Neeraj Pandey. The rumours were Neeraj paid sum of rupees 40 Cr to Dhoni for the rights of his story.
Neeraj recently dismissed the rumours that Dhoni charged a huge sum of 40 Cr to sell the rights of his life story. He said that no production house would pay such hefty amount to buy the rights to the story of a cricketer.
Neeraj Pandey on Sunday, has said that "no studio would cough up so much money just to attain the rights of a cricketer's story." He also stated that the very idea of paying a cricketer such astronomical amounts of money strains credulity.
The movie will be releasing soon on 30th September and expected to do well. Sushant Singh Rajput is seen in character of MS Dhoni.
