New Delhi [India], July 20 (NT): Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan said 'voting on No Confidence Motion against ruling party will take place at 6 pm today.

 Following the rusks,  Biju Janata Dal (BJD) walked out of the Lok Sabha  while Shiv Sena MPs will not attend Lok Sabha today.

Shiv Sena Parliamentary party meeting underway Amit Desai, Arvind Sawant, Anant Geete and other MPs  are present in the meeting.

The Bharatiya Janata Party-led government is facing a no-confidence motion moved by its former ally the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Prime Minister Narendra Modi taking to twitter on Friday urged fellow MPs to "rise to the occasion and ensure a constructive, comprehensive and disruption-free debate".

 He said, "Today is an important day in our Parliamentary democracy. I'm sure my fellow MP colleagues will rise to the occasion and ensure constructive, comprehensive and disruption-free debate. We owe this to the people and the makers of our Constitution. India will be watching us closely".

Meanwhile, Mallikarjun Kharge, the senior leader of Congress said that is this time sufficient for us to highlight issues of 130 crore Indians & faults of this govt? Each party should get 30 minutes, but 38 minutes have been allotted to the largest opposition party.

 He added that No Confidence Motion can't be treated like question hour.
