While Reliance Jio launched its 4G feature phone Jio Phone since then, many companies had announced launching their feature phones too. They said that this phone will compete with the Jio phone. These include many companies including Airtel, Idea, Intex, which are working on feature phones. It is now known that Micromax is coming soon to bring its new feature phone, which will prove to be a tough competitor for Jio Phone. The company will present its feature phone in the name of Bharat One, which will cost Rs. 2,000.

Micromax and BSNL have partnered for upcoming Bharat One feature phones. In which the service of BSNL can be used in this phone. However, no information has been given about this yet. But it has become clear that Micromax's Bharat One feature phone will be launched soon. 

The Gurugram-based handset maker is set to launch its 4G feature phone in an exclusive tie-up with state-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) for attractive offers, including free voice, two people aware of the company’s plans told ET on the condition of anonymity. 

The launch is timed to take advantage of the festive season demand, even as the company competes with large Chinese rivals that have taken the lion’s share in the smartphone segment. 

If Micromax's Bharat One feature comes in the market, it will be a tough competition to the phone. It is not yet known whether this phone will be 4G or not but the company can launch it during the festive season.
