PM Modi takes on Cong over "the surgical strike, Dalit, Farmers and girl rape in Bidar"

With starting his third round of election campaigning, PM Narendra Modi addressed at a rally in Kalaburagi, Karnataka.

“Karnataka is synonymous with valour. But, how did the Congress Govts treat Field Marshall Cariappa and General Thimayya? History is proof of that. In 1948 after defeating Pakistan, General Thimayya was insulted by PM Nehru and Defence Minister Krishna Menon,” PM Modi lashed out Congress over surgical strike.

PM added “Congress doesn't respect the sacrifices of our soldiers. When our soldiers carried out surgical strikes, the Congress party questioned them. They kept on asking proof of the strikes from me.”

PM Modi said that this election will decide the future of Karnataka. It is about security of women, the development of farmers, PM lauded.

PM urged voters “Do not assume this is only about electing MLAs, it is much more than that”.

In the reply of today’s tweet of Congress president Rahul, PM said, “This area of Kalaburagi is known for 'Dal' cultivation. Our farmers are working hard here and availing of the benefits of the Central government schemes. However, the Karnataka government is insensitive towards the condition of farmers”. PM alleged that Congress is least bothered about the farmers and his govt is devoted all energy towards farmer welfare.

“The government of India is devoting significant resources towards improving the irrigation network”,PM Modi said.

PM Modi took on congress on surgical strikes and said, “After surgical strikes, one of Congress's senior leaders called our current Army Chief a 'Gunda',”.

PM Modi recalls Last assembly election to influence Dalit community and said,”During last elections, Congress promised they will make Mallikarjun Kharge Ji the Chief Minister. They misled the Dalit community. This is typically how Congress plays politics”.

PM Modi praised his govt and said that it has taken numerous steps to further the welfare of the Dalit and Tribal communities.
