Balochistan, July 25: 31 killed and more than 20 injured in a suicide blast in Quetta blast near eastern bypass in Balochistan, during Pakistan Elections 2018 Voting, IG police Mohsin Butt confirmed the causalities.

The dead include police officials and civilians.

The whole area was crowded as people were making their way to vote at Tameer-e-Nau Model School in close proximity. Polling has come to an end at the polling station after the blast.

 Worth mention here the blast attacked a police van which was passing by on a road close to a polling station in NA-260.

Probes are underway and an emergency has been stated at Civil Hospital where injured are being treated.

In the Wednesday morning, the voting has begun across Pakistan's 85,307 polling stations to elect Prime minister. This is a violent battle and is expected between Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led by Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) led by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

As per the reports of Dawn, PTI chief Imran Khan has cast his vote in Islamabad's Bhara Kahu Dhok Jilani's polling station.

On the other hand PTI official Twitter handle wrote : "Nawaz sharif has done his best to help external forces who are constantly attacking our armed forces. Modi approves of NS but not the Park Fauj. He has said it himself.”
