The duo ruled our hearts with their 2014 release, Hasee Toh Phasee. Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra, have been counted amongst the cutest pairs of the Indian film Industry.

Now there is news that the duo would be featured opposite each other in an upcoming venture, produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shailesh R Singh.

The movie shall be helmed by Prashant Singh and would be his directorial debut.

The stars would start shooting for the movie by the coming week.

As per the reports, it has been suggested that  the plot of the movie is based on Uttar Pradesh amd Bihar.

Parineeti and Siddharth would be featured in their completely rural forms. The actors have started preparing for their roles in the movie.

They are supposed to pick up a Bihari accent to enhance the flavor of their characters.

Talking about the movie, its producer, Ekta Kapoor said that it is her Grease Lightning which is a 1977 American biographical film of champion race driver Wendell Scott. She also said that she always wanted to cast Siddharth in the lead role. She said that it would be the most massy film that she has ever created.  

Parineeti Chopra would also feature in ‘Namaste England’ and ‘Sandeep aur Pinki Farrar’ opposite Arjun Kapoor.
