Srinagar: A number of protestors took to streets in Srinagar and waved the Pakistan national flag and ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) symbols on the day of Eid al-Adha. Unknown persons also pelted stones on security forces.

The whole episode took place on Wednesday after the city residents gathered together for morning namaz at a mosque on Eid.

Here are ANI Footages which show protestors carrying black banners with words 'MUSA ARMY' – This is in an alleged reference to Zakir Musa, who is the head of an al-Qaeda associated rebellious outfit.

Soon after, a very big clash broke out between the security forces and protestors. Worth mention here earlier in the day, terrorists killed Special Police Officer (SPO) Fayaz Ahmad in Zazripora village in Jammu and Kashmir`s Shopian district.

"He was shifted to a hospital where the doctors said he was dead on arrival," the police informed.

A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) affiliate, Shabir Ahmed Bhat, was shot dead at his home by terrorists in the wee hours of Wednesday. On a related note the BJP affiliate was a resident of Rakh-e-litter village in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.
