On Sunday, a CWC meet was held in Delhi, which was then headed by Rahul Gandhi. Congress leaders from all over the country participated in the meeting and discussed various issues. As per the  Sources,  Congress leader, Sonia Gandhi asserted that to overcome and encounter the organizational might and financial power of the RSS, the opposition should gather and join hands in strategic alliances. She also said that people must keep aside their personal interests.

The meeting has also been attended by P Chidambaram. During the meet, Chidambaram affirmed that the Congress Party has been holding a strong grip in 12 states. He said that their grip could help them win around 150 seats. He added that in the other states, they could form an alliance with the other parties.

Captain Amarinder Singh asserted regarding the meeting, “I am saying that alliances will be dependent on where the national leadership takes us and wherever it takes us we will go. People are expressing confidence in Congress now”. He added, “Sonia Gandhi Ji points out that the rhetoric of PM Modi shows his desperation, reflecting that the reverse countdown of Modi Govt has begun.”

Talking about the all-new CWC, Rahul Gandhi appreciated it and said that as an institution that constitutes experience & energy this body also acts as a bridge between the past, present and the future.  He appealed to the men and women who have been following and supporting Congress to rise up and fight the ones who try to oppress them.
