The most awaited sci-fi thriller 2.0 that stars superstar Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar have completed its shoot in last year’s October only but the post-production work halt its release for a long time made the audience wait for enough time that must have made them very curious till now.
The release date for the quite buzzed project is announced by its filmmakers’ on Tuesday evening with caption: “Hi everyone.. atlast the vfx companies promised the final delivery date of the vfx shots. The movie will release on nov 29th 2018.#2Point0”

The Shankar Shanmugham directorial is getting the contribution from around Over 15 studios which are working on different part of the movie simultaneously. The movie is an ensemble of toppers from their lists like Oscar winning music director AR Rahman, cinematographer Nirav Shah, editor Anthony and the writers Shankar and Jeyamohan.
The already claimed blockbuster of the year is a sequel of 2010 superhit Endhiran which was dubbed in Hindi with the name Robot. The viewers witnessed the double role of Rajinikanth in the movie as Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti – the Robot and the same will be followed in the sequel as it is. Amy Jackson will be paired up against the south actor while replacing Aishwarya Bachchan. Akshay Kumar will be seen in a villainous role which is a quite interesting thing about the movie as everyone wants to see that how the hero would convert himself in a villain. Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain, and Kalabhavan Shajohn are some other actors in the movie.
Once talking about his upcoming project Rajinikanth expressed that "2.0 would be a talked-about film in Indian cinema. How the SS Vasan directed Chandralekha, which was released in 1944, turned out to be a blockbuster, 2.0 will have the same kind of reach and talk. It is all because of the content.
