If it follows a similar pattern to the GTA 5 pre-release hype, Rockstar will begin by revealing single-player footage. This is likely to be followed by multiplayer footage from Red Dead Redemption 2 Online at a later date. According to a recent report on Reviews, Red Dead Redemption 2 Online could feature a Battle Royale mode in the gaming world. And if Red Dead Redemption 2 Online is half as popular as GTA Online, then PUBG and Fortnite could be in big trouble. Other online game modes are said to include Revive and Survive and Money Grab. Revive and Survive gives players a limited time to revive teammates, while Money Grab sees two teams fight over a bag of money in a central location.
The leak also sheds some light on the single-player mode, including the identity of the main characters. This includes lead protagonist Arthur Morgan and gang leader Dutch Van Der Linde. Players will be able to visit cities like Armadillo and Ridgewood, which will be accessible via trains. The game will reportedly be playable in the first person, while random missions in the style of GTA 5's Strangers and Freaks will also be playable.
Fans can also expect fishing and craft to make an appearance, as well as gambling, gold mining and much more. Red Dead Redemption 2 has been given an October 26 release date on PS4 and Xbox One.
