Crazy about “Legally Blonde”?

If reports are to be trusted, Reese Witherspoon is most probably about to return as Elle Woods in “Legally Blonde 3”.

The actress is also willing to co-produce the venture through her production house, “Hello Sunshine”, if all goes well.

The plot of the movie revolves around Elle Woods, who tries to win back her ex-boyfriend by grabbing a law degree.

Legally Blonde was a blockbuster, directed by Robert Luketic, made under the budget of 18 million US dollars, the movie grabbed  $141 million US dollars at the global box-office.

It was based on a novel, published by the same name, written by Amanda Brown.

The movie was originally written by Kirsten Smith and Karen McCullah, who have been approached for the sequel.

Presently, Reese Witherspoon is shooting for the series, “Big Little Lies”, which would most probably go “on air” by 2019.

The series would also feature Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern & Shailene Woodley.

The cast has also been joined by the Oscar Winning actress, “Meryl Streep”.

Meryl would be seen playing the character of Perry Wright’s mother.
