Samsung Electronics, the South Korean technology company, recorded a profit of 11,100 million von (9 billion dollars) in the third quarter of 2017. This is 245 percent more than the same quarter a year ago. In this, the company's strong chip is the biggest contributor to the business's turnover. 

The company has announced this on Tuesday. In a statement, Samsung said in the statement that during the July-September quarter, its operating profit was 14,530 crore von, with an increase of 279.4 percent over the year-on-year basis. It was reported to the news agency EFE news report that the company's sales grew by 29.7% in the reporting period and it was 62,000 crore. The operating profit of the technology giant and the revenue received from the sale remained in line with the estimates released by the company on October 13.

Samsung's semiconductor business remained the most successful business in the third quarter, which recorded the operating profit of 9, 9 60 million von, which is three times more than the same period a year ago. This increase was contributed by demand and an increase in prices. The company said that its IT and mobile communications business, which includes smartphones, has registered operating profit of Rs 3,290 crore.
