November 18 was remarked as special day not only for medical student Manushi Chhillar but for the whole of India too, as she became the sixth Indian to took the Miss World title. The 20-year-old was inspired beyond the words when her name was declared. Earlier in this an Indian woman, Priyanka Chopra, became Miss World, was in 2000. While the competition gives the right to the winning contestant to wear the crown for a year, there are many other advantages that come along with the prestigious title.

The first perk of becoming Miss World is the tremendous exposure that comes with the fame. Manushi got a chance to interact with contestants from 118 countries and after her win, for a year, she will meet and work with people from various countries and cultures.
