He has been officially brought on board for Karan Johar's Takht. But wait, before you anticipate if he's making his Bollywood debut with this film here's a twist. Turns out, he's joined the film as an assistant director to Karan Johar.

Shah Rukh Khan has time and again gone on record to mention how Aryan is more interested in filmmaking than acting. In fact, he was even quoted saying once on how he wants Aryan to assist Karan one day.
In an interview with Hindustan Times SRK had said, "Aryan is studying to be a filmmaker and a writer, while Suhana wants to be an actor. But even if he wants to be a filmmaker, he needs to study for another five to six years and not just the literal form of studying, but probably be an assistant to Karan after he finishes his film-making course.”

Talking about Takht, Karan is returning to direction with this most ambitious film that's based on the Mughal era with fight to the finish for the Mughal throne. Film boasts an ensemble cast to the likes of Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar.
The film is expected to go on floors in a couple of months and release somewhere in 2020.
