New Delhi :Navjot Singh Sidhu on the invitation of Imran Khan's swearing-in ceremony expressed his views in the press meet and asserted that he respect the foreign policy of the Govt and the country, but this is a personal invitation(Imran Khan's swearing-in) and he believe sports persons and artists break barriers.

 The former star cricketer turned Politician Navjot Singh Sidhu noted that it’s a huge honor for me, adding that a personal invitation( for Imran Khan's swearing in) from him and not a political one

Talking about Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan said He has risen from scratch in politics and he has exhibited great character.

 He further said, “I see him as a ray of hope”.

Earlier as per his party officials report told that Pakistan’s PM in waiting  Imran Khan will take oath at the President House instead of an open venue like the D-Chowk or Parade Ground. As the cricket star turned Politician Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) emerged as the single largest party in the elections held on July 25 with 116 seats, the 65-year-old leader is likely to take the oath for PM Post on August 11.

At present, he is conducting meetings with senior party leaders to select his cabinet and chief ministers for Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa regions. In these provience PTI is poised to form the government. Party sources stated that besides these the formation of the governments, issues like where Khan should take the oath or live as Prime Minister have also been talked.

"It was decided that he should take oath in the President House which is a secure place," a party leader said as quoted by Zee news.

President Mamnoon Hussain will administer him the oath of the office. He said though there was some support in the party for an open place like D-Chowk, in front of the parliament, where he had protested for 126 days in 2014 or the scenic Parade Ground but was opposed due to security reasons.

The party not cleared to say anything about who will be invited for Khan's swear-in ceremony but according to local media former Indian cricketers Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar and Navjot Singh Sidhu, and Bollywood actor Aamir Khan were being invited.
