Not in only China is super fast in making electronic merchandises but some of your fav. recipes are originated from China. Yes, you heard it right that China saw the origin of a number of famous foods like Sushi, Ketchup, Ice- Cream and Miso on its soil. For an example, Sushi first dawned in China. Way before Japanese food scenario became dominated by sushi, people in Southeast Asia and Southern China were already preserving fish by wrapping it in cooked rice, letting it ferment or pickle for up to a year before eating it.

Likewise, if you look at the ketchup, it is actually a joint venture of China, Britain, and America. However, if you go to the flashback history about who coined it first, China wins the race. It was the Chinese who made “ke-tsiap,” the fermented fish sauce which following became our yummy tomato ketchup when tomatoes were added by Britain and later by Americans who added vinegar and lots of sugar to it. The list does not stop here, you must know that the oldest alcohol was actually the excess of a 9,000-year-old fermented beverage in China. That wine/beer was made from rice, honey, and fruit, and in 2006 Dogfish Head released a Chateau Jiahu beer inspired by the recipe.

Scroll down your lappy's button to know about these food items that might seem to be a part of different cuisines but they all belong to China. Sounds interesting!
