New Delhi: #MeToo movement has become burning topic in India after the accusation of Tanushree Dutta’s on Nana Patekar for sexually harassing heron the set of film Horn Ok please in 2008.Apart from Bollywood celebrities, Politician MJ Akbar also has been embroiled in sexual harassment allegations. He returned to India from Nigeria on Sunday and in response to allegations he said that there will be a statement later on.

Earlier, many leaders, including BJP President Amit Shah, Union Minister Smriti Irani, had given a statement about the allegations against MJ Akbar. On this, Amit Shah had said that first his allegations would be examined and and would need to know that how true are On the other hand, when asked about this question from Smriti Irani, she said that it would be better if Akbar spoke on this matter. Apart from this, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj also defied this question.

Akbar, the Minister of State for External Affairs, was on an official trip to Nigeria when he got accused for sexual harassment. The union minister has been accused by many women mostly journalist. Apart from Akbar, may Bollywood celebrities like vikas Bahl, Alok Nath, Kailash Kher and Sajid Khan have been accused by the women.
