Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma statrar Sui Dhaga has the idea of 'Make in India' in its center of attention. It tells the story of a common man who does amazing things that are both inspirational and heart touching. Sui Dhaga attracts the viewers with its desi feel and sincere performances.

After the special screening the movie received a good response from the critics' side . It has termed the as a wholesome entertainer for all class of people.

Sharat Katariya directorial Sui Dhaga is all set to released across 2,500 screens in India and 700 screens overseas (international screens: 3,200).

Reports suggested that Trade experts estimate, the movie is likely to collect Rs 8-9 crore on the first day at the box office.

The Khaleej Times reports said that Director Sharat Kataria worked with similar authenticity in 'Sui Dhaaga' like Dum Laga Ke Haisha. His writing is incredible and he picturizes his characters with full care and entertains us a story that is so touching.

Varun Dhawan who is known to be a director's actor performs tremendously as
“Mauji “while Anushka Sharma is perfect in as the role of innocent Indian wife. She carries a traditional ghoonghat  and acts like “Sanskari Bahu”. She naturally performs the character and viwers are glad to see her as Mamta.

Although the movie has  flaws but it is an engaging watch for all.
