New Delhi: Janta Dal-United (JDU) has started to warm up exercises ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in the country. It has asserted that any seat-sharing arrangement in Bihar should be done keeping in mind the result of the 2015 assembly elections here.

Taking about 2015 state elections, JDU had emerged as the leading party as he claimed 71 out of 243 seats and had joined hands with several parties - including nemesis RJD - in a 'Mahagatbandhan' before separation and allying with NDA.

Meanwhile  Jitan Ram Manjhi,  Hindustani Awam Morcha said on Bihar assembly elections, “If Nitish Kumar gives up CM seat and joins 'mahagathbandhan', then I think Tejashvi Prasad ji will be our CM face for 2020 Bihar elections”.

On a related note BJP had bagged 53 seats. JDU has now sought to ring a bell to BJP about the numbers even though formal seat-sharing meetings for the Lok Sabha elections next year have not yet commenced.

According to news agency PTI, a number of JDU leaders, have said on the condition of vagueness - that the results of the assembly elections were a show of the party's power and that it cannot be overlooked when distributing seats for the all-significant elections next year.
