China's smartphone maker Huawei announced on Friday it's rollout of the latest Mobile UI EMUI 8.0. The new software is based on Android 8.0 OREO and it is equipped with many AI features like Real-Time Scene, Object Recognition, Smart Tips and AI Accelerated Translator. EMUI 8.0 is available for the recently launched Honor 9 Lite and the latest Honor View 10.   

The new software will be rollout for smartphones such as Honor 8 Pro, Honor 9I and Honor 8 Lite. But no date has been mentioned about this. Honor 9 Light was launched in China last month and this phone will be launched in India on Wednesday.  EMUI 8.0 is based on Android 8.0 Oreo and claims to have a machine learning feature.

These include Intelligent Resource Allocation, Intelligent Context Awareness, User Behavior and Intelligent Behavior Prediction. EMUI 8.0, is the upgrade to the previous EMU 5.1. And for an easy UI browsing experience, it takes less memory.   

In addition, there are also features like One-Hand Operation Navigation Dock, Customized Theme, Private Space Optimization, a Better Settings Menu, Latest Deleted Documents and Pinned Shortcuts.  Recently, Honor is also ready to launch the next smartphone in India. The company had informed the phone last week to reach India early. Honor is organizing a launch event in India on January 17th, Wednesday. The company has sent media invoices for the launch event.
