The Myth about Virginity
The Myth about Virginity

Virginity! Call it a conjecture, call it a myth, the fact is that virginity is a mere hypothesis.

A hypothesis that women have been suffering since existence. History has witnessed several cases of honor killing where the womb of humanity’s existence suffered its end for not being able to stand upon the hollow concept of virginity.

It is high time for us to realize that a thin cellular membrane cannot define a woman’s purity.

Well, talking precisely, not even a membrane.

A hymen is a mere aggregation of tissues that does not even cover the vagina completely.

Also, you must be informed that there is no particular structure or shape for a hymen to exist. It varies with the body and can differ completely even in terms of the texture.

Like most of you would have believed it to be, a hymen is not a thin film that gets pierced with the first intercourse. It is flexible enough to persist even after the intercourse and fragile enough to be broken even before the intercourse.

Another myth prevailing in our society is that a virgin always bleeds on her first intercourse.

Again, bleeding is a phenomenon which differs from body to body. One female might bleed during her first intercourse while the other might not. Hence there is no proof or no biological evidence for a female’s virginity.

Every man on earth who seeks to discover a female’s virginity should be informed that the only way to know about a female’s sexual status is to ask her.
