The makers of blockbuster film bahubali are planning to bring up and highlight one of the important characters in the movie. They are planning a web series rejuvenating the character of shivgami Devi, who is the mother of bahubali in the movie. Arka Media, who earlier produced the epic film, is planning to make a web series titled The Rise of Sivagami, based on the book written by Anand Neelakantan.
Many names are coming up, Deva Katta can direct the web series as it requires a heavy budget. However, a source close to the production house says that the Baahubali makers are still toying with the idea.
According to a source “The production house has been mulling over the idea of The Rise of Sivagami, based on the book written by Anand Neelakantan. The idea is currently being discussed internally and is still in the development stage, the platform of the project is yet to be finalized.”
Before taking the final call for the project the makers will have several meetings with different filmmakers. Sivagami’s character was portrayed by Ramakrishnan in Baahubali.
