The OnePlus 3T have received the face unlock ability using Android's Trusted Face feature. This is a bit of a surprise considering that the company made no such mention of the feature in the changelog for the update.Â
OnePlus has included Face Unlock feature in OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones. The company first gave the Face Unlock feature in its recently launched OnePlus 5T.Â
Now the company has updated it on its two other Smartphone OnePlus3 and OnePlus 3T. These two smartphones feature Face Unlock feature with the OxygenOS 5.0 update. Let's know how to update Face Unlock feature in OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T.Â

Users must go to settings to Face Unlock feature in OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. You can enjoy this new update feature via Settings> Security & fingerprint> Smart Lock.

There they will see an option for Trusted devices which will allow them to set up a face to face unlock. Users will then be directed to add a face. They can later and improve the accuracy of the system by following the same steps. They will then be asked to try the same in different lighting conditions, with/without prescription glasses, and even with/without their beard.
