The festival of Rakhi is not just a festival of yarn. On this day, every sister ties the bond of love on her brother's wrist while wishing for her brother's longevity and happiness in life. This time Rakshabandhan is coming on 26th of this month. On this special occasion, you tell us about the relationship of PM Modi's siblings who have been tying Rakhi to PM Modi for 36 years and is from Pakistan.

 

PM Modi's sister Pakistani-born Qamar Mohsin Sheikh has been tying Rakhi to Modi for the last 36 years. Sheikh was born in Pakistan, but she considers himself a Hindustani. She says that she is heartily an Indian and she is proud that his brother is the PM of India. In one of her interviews Sheikh had told that when she came to India after the marriage, she missed her family very much. Sheikh did not have many relatives in India. The time she met Modiji was when he was the worker of the Sangh. In connection with work, the two used to meet each other. Once she met Modi on the day of Rakhi, she asked him to tie Rakhi and Modi ji happily gave his hand forward. After which she has been tying rakhi to PM Modi.
