Ingredients of Patishapta with Strawberry Coulis
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup rice flour
1 cup condensed milk
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon powdered green cardamom
5 1/2 cup strawberry
1/2 cup semolina
2 cup sugar
water as required
3 tablespoon condensed milk
salt as required
For Filling
1 cup coconut
How to make Patishapta with Strawberry Coulis
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the grated coconut along with the condensed milk. Then, add powdered green cardamom seeds to it.
Step 2
Keep stirring the mixture until it combines well. Then, slide it in a refrigerator to cool and meanwhile in a separate bowl, sieve together semolina and all-purpose flour and add salt and water. Mix well till the lumps disappear.
Step 3
Place a non-stick pan on medium flame and pour some oil on it. Once the oil is hot enough, spread the flour mixture to make a full circle. Allow the mixture to fry till it turns golden brown in color and let it swell up a bit. Keep it aside and let it cool. Now, place the filling at the center of the circle and roll it up. Place it on a serving plate and repeat the same with the rest of the mixture.
Step 4
Now in a saucepan, add water along with strawberries and sugar. Let it boil over medium flame. Once it starts boiling, turn off the flame and transfer the mixture into a blender. Blend it till smooth. Now, pass the sauce prepared through a strainer in order to get rid of the strawberry
