Debina Banerjee who has been known for her character portrayal of Sita, in the popular mythological series, Ramayana, recently got an opportunity to meet the yesteryears actress, Deepika Chikhlia, who played Sita in another version of Ramayana which was telecasted much before Debina’s Ramayana.
Deepika played Sita in the Ramayan, which went on-air during the year 1987-88.
Debina played Sita opposite Gurmeet Choudhary. The duo fell in love with each other on the sets and decided to get married. During an event in Delhi, Debina came across the former Sita and was overwhelmed to meet her. The two actresses clicked pictures with each other and posted them on the Instagram. Debina posted a picture of herself with Deepika Chikhlia with a caption that read, “When Sita meets Sita. How I savoured this moment of meeting you. My first work Ramayana was on the foundation of seeing your DVDs, understanding, forming knowledge. Legend. Lots of love."
Fans were delighted to watch the two Sitas, together, and showered them with a lot of lovely comments.
Deepika Chikhlia posted certain pictures of herself from her show Ramayana and captioned it as, “Mood”.
It was definitely a treat to watch the two Sitas pose together.
