Lucknow: Cracks have appeared in Diwan-e-Aam of Red Fort in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. After this, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has got barricading done here as a precaution. Also, it has been closed for tourists. The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has taken this decision in view of the possibility of falling of plaster and stones.

It is being said about the cracks of Diwan-e-Aam that cultural programs were organized here on 11 February for the G-20 delegation. A lot of noise pollution was done in this program. Diwan-e-Aam has developed cracks due to excessive sound. However, due to the decision of ASI, deep disappointment is being seen among the tourists coming here. According to reports, the Maharashtra government had sought permission from the ASI to organize Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's 393rd birth anniversary program on February 19 in this fort of Agra. However, the ASI rejected this demand of the Maharashtra government. However, now this matter has reached the High Court.

Vikas Kharge, Principal Secretary, Government of Maharashtra, had sought permission from ASI Director General Vidyavati to organize the program. Vikas Kharge had said in his application that there would be a rehearsal before the event. This rehearsal will be done on 18 February. In this situation ASI please give permission on 18 and 19 on your behalf.
