New Delhi: Another farmer has committed suicide amid the ongoing farmers' agitation on the Delhi-Haryana border against the new agricultural laws brought by the central government. The farmer wrote a suicide note and shot himself from his licensed revolver and committed suicide. The farmer who committed suicide has been identified as A.K. Singh, who was residing in Ferozepur, Punjab.

Earlier on Monday also, a farmer had swallowed a poisonous substance, after which he died during treatment in the hospital. Farmer Nasib Singh, on Monday, identified the farmer who committed suicide as Labh Singh to demand the return of agricultural laws. He was a resident of Ludhiana in Punjab and was present at the agitation place for several days.

Late in the evening, he went to the stage and swallowed the toxic substances and committed suicide. Many farmers have lost their lives so far in the agitation for the last one and a half months. The farmers are outraged by the recalcitrant attitude of the government. While the farmers are demanding the withdrawal of agricultural laws, the government is giving it a historic improvement in the agriculture sector.
