Massive fire breaks out at Registrar's office in Shahjahanpur, important documents related to land burnt

Lucknow: A major fire broke out at the registrar's office in Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh late last night. Due to which important documents related to the lands were burnt to ashes. As soon as the fire was reported, police and fire tenders rushed to the spot. The fire brigade got control of the fire after a lot of hard work. The cause of the fire is not yet known. The police have registered a case and started an investigation. 

In fact, there was a holiday in the government departments over Holi. Due to this, the registry office was also closed. It is being told that the smoke started rising in the office, as soon as the fire started rising from the whole office. In a short time, important documents related to the land kept in the registrar's office were converted into computers and furniture. During this time an employee has also been charred in an attempt to extinguish the fire. Chief Fire Officer Rehan Ali said the fire has now been brought under control. Ali further said, "Two fire tenders were sent to the spot and they have brought the fire under control."

All the top officials including ADM Finance and Revenue rushed to the spot and took stock of the spot. The matter is now being investigated to find out what caused the fire. At present, the ADM has lodged an FIR and ordered an inquiry.
