These days the crime against women after threatening theme to circulate their private and photos are increasing. Another shocking incident comes to light in which because of a kissing selfie a girl faced brutality. A 17-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly raping a girl of the same age on several times after blackmailing her to circulate her intimate picture with him.

As per the information, The police arrested the accused and sent him to a juvenile home. Both the accused and the alleged victim lived in the same locality and knew each other. The accused had clicked a selfie kissing the girl while they were celebrating her birthday in Bandra's Carter Road area on October 10. After this the accused threatens the girl to circulate it and raped her several times.

As per the police official, "From October 10 to November 26, the accused raped the 17-year-old girl several times by threatening to circulate this selfie. The incident came to light when he reached her college recently and assaulted her when she refused to go out with him,". The police official said a friend of the alleged victim informed her parents about the assault. When the parents enquired about the incident, the girl narrated her ordeal.

The victim narrated her the whole incident after which her kin approached Kherwadi police station. The official said, “Since the incident happened on the stretch of Carter Road which falls in the jurisdiction of Khar police station, the case was transferred to us," Acting on the complaint, the accused was detained from his house on December 9 and charged under (POCSO) Act and relevant sections of the IPC and for rape. As of now Police further investigating the whole matter.
