The crime against minor on the pretext of helping them are increasing. In yet another shocking incident, a seven-year-old was sexually harassed by luring her for providing her with a breakfast by a married man. The incident reportedly occurred in Chattisgarh’s Bilaspur region.
The accused has been arrested after a thorough probe. Cops said that the man sexually assaulted the minor after taking her to a farm. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Bilaspur, Rajendra Jaiswal said, "A seven-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a drunken man. He enticed the minor by promising to arrange breakfast for her and forced her to ride a pillion on his motorcycle. He then took her to a field and attacked her sexually,". As per the information the girl was sexually harassed by an already-married man.
Rajendra Jaiswal, the police were able to locate the accused after reviewing CCTV footage, "The accused is a married man. The cops launched an inquiry and combed through all relevant CCTV material. We first located his bike and then tracked down the accused. Further probe is being conducted," As of now further investigation is going on into the matter.
This is not the first instance the crime against girl especially minors and innocent children are increasing. This type of cruelty became very common. In such cases accused on the pretext of playing with the girl or helping the girl child took her away from her family and then raped her. Therefore it is important to educate girl children and make them aware of this miscreant.
