Raipur : Only one mobile SIM card will be given at the time of joining from state constable to IPS officer. Which will be the number till their retirement. After the same transfer or new posting, the number will not have to be submitted in the district. As of now, only SP, Additional SP, CSP and Thanedars of the district are given numbers, for the first time these numbers will also be given to constable, Havildar and ASI. For this, the police headquarters has purchased 50 thousand mobile sim of BSNL. SIM cards have been sent to all districts. In which Raipur, Durg, Rajnandgaon and Bilaspur have started distributing SIM cards to police officers and employees. After this, 20 thousand SIM cards will be purchased for officers and soldiers posted in Chhattisgarh Armed Forces. In this way, 76 thousand police officers and jawans will be given CUG numbers.

Free officers and soldiers will be talked about with this sim. Till now, the CUG numbers were distributed for the officers of the headquarters, from the captain to the police station in the districts. The constable, havildar or ASI working in the same field did not have numbers. They had to recharge with their money. Now, having a CUG number, you can talk for free. With this, you will get a balance of 100 rupees and one GB data every day. Earlier, the police headquarters had issued the same series numbers for SP, Additional SP, CSP and Thanedars in IG districts of the range. Whose numbers were for related posts. These numbers will still remain. The same officers will have to carry this number as well. Apart from this, the personal number given to them will also have to be carried along. The same will be an online record of these numbers, so that the officials do not have to speak to anyone to contact them. Its biggest advantage will be that after typing their name and district, their number will start to appear. This will also facilitate the common people. Once the number of a soldier or officer is saved, then they will be talked on the same number. With this, this number will also be available on WhatsApp.

If we talk, information system is considered very important in the police department. Most policemen do not give their personal mobile numbers to others, who are given CUG numbers, they have to leave the number when they get another posting. Which breaks the network of informers. The same people also get away from the policemen. But now in case of having the same number from joining the job to retirement, the police personnel will remain in direct contact with the people. Due to which there will be constant contact with the informant system. The benefit of this will be found in the police investigation and to find the culprits. This is a good effort. With this, the system can be improved to a great extent. People of all sections will benefit from this.
