New Delhi: Former Jharkhand CM Babulal Marandi has spoken with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda on Sunday. Om Mathur, in-charge of Jharkhand was also present in this meeting. This meeting was about the merger of Babulal Marandi's party JVM with BJP. According to the information received, Marandi will organize an event in Ranchi on February 17 and in the same program, he can formally merge his party JVM with BJP.

The possibility is being expressed that Union Home Minister Amit Shah himself, BJP National President JP Nadda can also be present in the event along with Om Mathur. Earlier, on February 7, Babulal Marandi expelled MLA Pradeep Yadav from the party's activities and charges. Pradeep Yadav is the other big leader of the party who has been thrown out.

On February 4, the party also issued a show cause notice to Poriyat MLA Pradeep Yadav for clarifying his statement on a separate line from the party. Pradeep was also accused of making a statement against Babulal Marandi. On January 21, the JVM-P also expelled Mandar MLA Bandhu Tirkey from the party. He was also accused of activities different from the party line. It is being told that action was taken against both the MLAs only to clear the path of merger with BJP.
