New Delhi: After voting for the Delhi Assembly elections, now the Delhi Police has started preparing for the counting of votes. During the counting of votes on Tuesday, no strong security arrangements have been made to prevent any security lapses. The deployment of the force at the counting center is very strong, security is being seen in various layers, Delhi Police, paramilitary forces and home guard teams have been deployed.

Where EVMs are kept they are called strong rooms and 30 such strong rooms have been set up in Delhi. It is noteworthy that EVM tampering issue has been hot since the voting on the 8th, when the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) questioned some videos and sought answers from the Election Commission. Delhi's CM Kejriwal has also raised questions about the election figures being made public by the Election Commission after much delay.

The Election Commission on Sunday in the PC clarified on those videos and said that the EVM present in that video is not a part of the counting. But the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has deployed its party workers outside the 30 strong rooms where EVM machines are kept. This step has been taken to keep a strict vigil on the machines till the voting day on Tuesday.
