Grandson walks 1100 km from Italy to meet grandmother in 93 days

New Delhi: Due to the deadly virus spread around the world, people are leaving only when there is a lot of necessary work. A child was so desperate to meet his grandmother that he did not consider it appropriate to stop until the train or plane service was restored and he left from Italy on his way to London. 11-year-old Romeo Cox embarked on a 2800-kilometer-long trek between Sicily and London in the eastern part of Italy with his 46-year-old father Phil on 20 June.

During this marathon trip, the two crossed Italy, Switzerland, France and reached London, the capital of the United Kingdom, on 21 September. After traveling for 93 days, Romeo saw his grandmother Rosemary living in a town called Whitney, Oxford, England on Sunday. Both are currently placed in isolation after this long journey, which Romeo will be able to meet his grandmother Rosemary after the completion of his term. Romeo's grandmother said that her grandson had done a truly unprecedented job and was proud of him. Grandmother said that she had never met anyone so warmly before.

Romeo said that the trip was very exciting and memorable. During the journey, he encountered wild dogs and spent the night under the open sky, sleeping under the honeycomb. Romeo states that his legs were hurting. During the journey, both lost their way too many times, but they did not lose courage.
