A record 91,000-plus spectators were added to the Nou Camp stadium during the Women's Champions League match played here on Wednesday between Barcelona and Real Madrid. Barcelona managed to make the occasion more memorable for the home crowd by winning the match 5-2. Organisers have said that 91,553 people were present at the stadium during the match here on Wednesday.
The previous record was held in the 1999 World Cup final between the US and China. During this match, 90,185 spectators had come to watch the match at the Rose Bowl Stadium. Let us know that the record for the most spectators in Spain's domestic league was made in 2019. There were 60,739 spectators watching the surviving match between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.
