Tennis player Alina Farid defeated Sohini Chatterjee 6-3, 0-6, 6-1 in three sets to advance to the Girls U-16 singles final in the AITA Super Series Tennis Championship at BTA. Alina will be seen taking on Rituja Saha in the final on Friday, who has defeated Odisha's Ardha Verma 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 in the semi-finals.

Alina, 12, will also be seen playing the girls' doubles final with Ardha Verma. The duo of Alina, Ardha had defeated Soumya Chatterjee and Sohini Chatterjee 6-3, 6-4 in the semi-finals. Meanwhile, Boys U-16 local Keshav Goel defeated Ethan Lee 6-4, 6-2 to make it to the boys' singles final. Keshav is now going to have a title clash with top-ranked Cheema in the final.
