New Delhi: The 7th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) season is going to be held today between the defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the new team Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). The match will be played at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Both these teams are coming after losing their previous match. In such a situation, both the teams will try to register their first victory in this second match.

CSK is commanded by Ravindra Jadeja, who is captaining for the first time. The good thing for him in this match is that the team's star player Moeen Ali is back. He joined the team late due to visa-related issues. Moeen could not play the first match. In this match, CSK had scored 131 runs for 5 wickets. In reply, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won the match by 6 wickets. With the return of Moeen Ali, captain Jadeja can make a change in the playing-11. He can play Moeen in place of Mitchell Santner. While all-rounder Shivam Dubey, who could not show his best in the last match, can get a second chance.

Tell you that Shivam had scored only 3 runs in the last match. Whereas in the bowling, has given 11 runs in just an over. Mahendra Singh Dhoni had hit a stormy fifty in the batting, but Ruturaj Gaikwad, Robin Uthappa, Devon Conway and Ambati Rayudu could not do anything special. All three will have to play responsibly in this match. LSG bowlers will also need to improve their line and length against Chennai. Fast bowler Dushmanta Chamira did well in the first match, but Avesh Khan disappointed. Apart from this, the role of the spin trio of Ravi Bishnoi, Deepak Hooda and Krunal will also be important in deciding the course of this match.

LSG captain KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock flopped badly in the last match. Manish Pandey and Evin Lewis also could not do anything special. After all these early dismissals, Deepak Hooda, Ayush Badoni and Krunal Pandya took charge in the middle order, which is a good sign for the Lucknow team. However, Lucknow captain KL Rahul can make a change in the playing-11. Andrew Tye can be included in the place of Mohsin Khan.

This could be the probable playing-11 of both the teams:-

Lucknow Super Giants: KL Rahul (Captain), Quinton de Kock, Evin Lewis, Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda, Ayush Badoni, Krunal Pandya, Andrew Tye/Mohsin Khan, Dushmanta Chamira, Ravi Bishnoi and Avesh Khan.

Chennai Super Kings: Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devon Conway, Robin Uthappa, Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu, Ravindra Jadeja (Captain), MS Dhoni, Shivam Dubey, Dwayne Bravo, Adam Milne and Tushar Deshpande.
