Lucknow: Police has registered an FIR against eight people, including her husband, for preventing Nida Khan, the head of the Ala Hazrat Helping Society, who fought for triple talaq, from attending the wedding of her maternal sister and assaulting her with a sharp weapon. Nida had given a complaint in this matter. She had also accused him and her family of murderous assault. Nida alleges that she was pressured to leave the BJP. Threatened to quit BJP and told that unless she leaves BJP, she will not be allowed to attend the wedding ceremony.

Nida Khan runs the Ala Hazrat Helping Society. In the past, Nida had taken membership of the BJP, so now her opponents are in anger. Nida Khan has told in the complaint given to the police that she had reached a marriage home on Pilibhit Road on 26 March for the wedding of her maternal uncle's daughter. There were some people who pressurized her to leave the BJP and started raising slogans. The family members also attended the wedding.

Nida told that even before reaching the wedding ceremony, my maternal uncle's son Barkat messaged me that my Khalu Tastim Mian, Sheeran Raza and Arslan and my maternal uncles Zaratab and Burhan are protesting. He has put a condition that if Nida repents on joining BJP, then she will be allowed to come or else she will not be allowed to attend the function. Nida told that he also said that if I come forcibly in the marriage ceremony, I will kill her.
