In Kozhikode, Kerala, a madman set a moving train on fire by sprinkling inflammable substances on other passengers. Seeing a sudden fire in the bogie, a woman travelling with a one-year-old child jumped from the moving train. The police have found the dead body of another person along with both of them on the tracks. The police have registered a case and started searching for the person who set fire to the train bogey. During the arson, nine other people aboard the train were also seriously injured and are being treated in the hospital.
Man absconds after arson: Reports say that the incident took place on the Alappuzha-Kannur Executive Express at 9.45 p.m. on Sunday night. After crossing Kozhikode city, as soon as the train reached the Korapuzha railway bridge, an unidentified person poured flammable material on other passengers and set it on fire. Nine people have been badly burned in this arson. After executing the incident, the suspected accused escaped from there.
Woman's mobile found in the train: Seeing the blazing fire in the train bogie, other passengers pulled the chain, and the injured were taken to the hospital. After moving from here, when the train reached Kannur, some passengers complained about the missing woman and child after the incident. A person injured in the arson is also looking for both. After a lot of searching, the woman's mobile phone and a shoe belonging to the child have also been found on the train.
